形容詞は名詞の前に置く。 small puppy, big girl
形容詞句は名詞の後ろに置く。 girl like me
例) I have a bag just like hers.
I've never seen any dog like you in Japan.
「それ(前に)見たことあるよ」は I've seen it.
「一度も見たことはない」はI've never seen it.
例) This is the first time I've ever seen a dog llke you.
You're from another country?
自分が得た情報から推測して「私の理解に間違いないかしら」と聞く。Are you...?の文にするより感じが出る。
Foreign dogs that I know are big. and their fur seems.... different.
seem (…のように思われる) 視覚に加えて何か感じるところがあるときに使う
I'd better get going.
get going …goやstartとほぼ同じ意味。これから動き出そうとする感じが強い
例) Let's get going.
Shota and I are best friends, too.
Oh, well, good for you...
Good for you. …達成されたことが本人のためになる意味での「よかったね」
Good job. …与えられた試練や仕事をよくぞ成功させたという意味合いのねぎらいの言葉
He was explaining to somebody how he had met Shota.

→I thought I was dying, when Shota came again with a sausage.
when…関係副詞の非制限用法
Shota picked me up and took me home. He wanted to keep me.
keep …状態を維持する意味合いが強い
I have a dog. (私は犬を飼っています。)
You're a noisy one, even when you're asleep.
「寝ていてもうるさい」と言うときは、evenが必要。
be asleep …眠っている状態を表す
I was sleeping. / I was asleep. (眠っていました)
Shota did everything for me. Now, I will do everything to go back to Shota.
He promised himself.
I can do it. Yes, I can. And I have to. I have to get back home.

「きみにいじわるする気はなかったんだ」
