【キーフレーズ】

Here comes the noisy one.
語順に注意。
Here it is! …何か捜し物をしていて「あった!」と喜びや驚きを込めて言うとき
Oh, there you are. …「なあんだ、きみ、そこにいたのか」

She's got a big mouth, and she sticks her nose into everything.
have got (=have) a big mouth (おしゃべりだ)
stick one's nose into... (…に干渉する)

Margherita came out with a shopping basket hanging around her neck.

She was a middle-sized, rather chubby female dog.
rather …ものごとを曖昧にする単語で「どちらかというと」という意味
chubby (小太りの、ぽっちゃりした)

I haven't seen you for quite a while. How've you been?

With that, she winked at him.
With that, …ある動作に続いて次の動作を語るときに使う。
        前の文章の内容を受け、文頭にくる。「そう言って」「そうして」

Why don't you give me a nice smile and talk for a change?
Why don't you...? …「なぜ…しないの?」と責める言い方ではなく、「…したら?」と誘いかける表現。
for a change (たまには)

Look at the beautiful sunshine.

I can tell something special is going to happen. Don't you think so, Dread?
Who knows?
Don't you think so? …相手に同意を求めるときの決まり文句。
Who knows? …文の最後の抑揚を下げると、かなり投げやりな「そんなこと知るもんか」「わかるもんか」という意味になる。
          文の最後を上げると、「いやいやわかりませんよ〜」と期待をかきたてる意味になる。

tickle one's eyes (目を喜ばせる) かわいいもを目にしたときのイディオム表現

Could you speak more slowly, please?
Could you..., please? …何かを頼むとき

You've got to remember me.
=You have to remember me.

May I ask you something, Charo?
「ひとつ聞いてもいいですか?」と知っている人にあらためて何かを尋ねるときに使う。
逆に知らない人に道を尋ねるときなどには不適当。

whetever …whatの強調

Are they eating at my place? Are they from Japan, too? Do they like Italian food?
at my place (私のところ(家、店)で)
例) We were supposed to meet at his place.

But don't you worry.
=don't worry

Dread had enough of Magherita's talk.
have enough of... (…にうんざりする)

How would you like to come with me?
How would you like...? …お誘いのフレーズ
              もう少し気を遣う相手であればWould you like...?が無難
例) How would you like to go to a movie with me?

What do you think?
Why not?
Why not? …ここでは悩んでいる誰かの背中をひと押し、「いいんじゃない、なんでやらないの?」とすすめる言い方
       誰かに何かを誘われたときの返事にも使える。
例) How would you like to hop on the train and come with me?
   ―Okay. Why not?

「いっしょに買い物にいくの、どう思う?」

What do you think of me going shopping with her?
She's taking me shopping. Can I go?

その他
What do you say if we go shopping together?
What do you say to my going shopping with her?

もっとストレートに
She wants me to go shopping with her. What do you think?
She's asking me to go shopping with her. What do you say?
Is it okay if I go shopping with her?

もっと控えめに許可を求めるなら
I was wondering if it's okay with you if I went shopping with her.

逆に、押しを強くして言うのなら
I'm going shopping with her. I hope you don't mind.
